What is PodcastPlacer?

A podcast guest booking service. You give it a LinkedIn profile URL or a website; it finds matching shows, writes and sends the pitches, answers host replies and coordinates the booking.

How much does PodcastPlacer cost?

$0.10 per pitch sent. There is no subscription, no per-seat fee and no charge for finding shows. New accounts start with $10 in free credits, which covers the first 100 pitches. After that you top up in one-time amounts of $10 or $50.

What do I need to get started?

A LinkedIn profile URL or a website, yours or a client's. The agent works out what the guest can speak about from it.

How many podcasts does it search?

It matches against a database of 3.4 million podcasts, grouped into show clusters that become the campaigns you run.

Who contacts the podcast hosts?

The pitches go out from a pool of pre-warmed mailboxes run by PodcastPlacer, never from your own domain. The agent finds the host, booker or producer contact for each show.

Can I see the pitches before they are sent?

Yes. You see the show list and sample pitches before anything sends.

What happens when a host replies?

The agent answers from the guest facts you set and coordinates the booking. Anything those facts do not cover is handed back to you.

Can an agency or PR firm use it for clients?

Yes. Agencies and PR people run one project per client, and the pitches go out on the client's behalf rather than pretending to be the client.

How do I control what I spend?

You set a daily budget that caps spend per day, and spending stops the moment you pause your campaigns.

Are the audience numbers download counts?

No. Audience size is shown as an estimated tier. PodcastPlacer does not have measured download numbers for the shows in the database and does not publish any.

Are credits refundable?

Free credits have no cash value and are not refundable. When a top-up can be refunded is set out in the terms of use.
